Join us for our Annual Summer Kick-Off Horse Show!
3rd Saturday in May

During their Spring Session, our riders collect pledges to raise funds to help take care of their 4-legged partners. They work hard year round to progress their skills in the arena, and this is their chance to show off! 

How can you help make this event a success? 
  • ~Find one of our riders and donate toward their pledge collection.
  • ~ Donate an item (or more) to the Bucket Raffle
  • ~Attend the event! Watch these amazing young men and women, buy raffle tickets, and eat at the concession stand.
  • ~Tell your friends!

Camp is open to any able bodied child Age 7-13. Campers of all riding levels will learn horsemanship and riding skills, grooming and tacking,  horse health care and maintenance. In addition, the week will be filled with various crafts such as “horse painting” , knot tying contests, numerous games and activities. The week will end on Friday with a performance Horse show where campers can show off their newly acquired skills to family and friends. This is a camp horse enthusiastic kids will not want to miss!

Mission Statement:

​Donum Dei (Latin meaning “Gift from God”) Incorporated, doing business as The Riding Therapy Center of Victoria, was created in response to God’s love.  The purpose of Donum Dei, Inc. is to offer equine- assisted services in an attitude of service to God the Father, God the Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in the most Holy Trinity.  Our work is done with respect and dignity to all.


PURPOSE:
​The various forms of therapeutic benefits received through The RTC's programs have shown marked improvement in balance, coordination, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive and social skills, sequential thinking, and increased self-esteem among other numerous benefits all while learning to ride a horse.
